“A picture is worth a thousand words.” Tell site visitors about your events, and they might express a passing interest. Show them, and you capture their involvement. That’s the philosophy behind the photo album feature created for the youth group at Cathedral Church of the Advent.www.adventeyc.com

Advent personnel can create new pages in the photo album. They can then add images (both thumbnail and full size) and text descriptions of each image through a browser-based system. They need no programming skills to maintain the photo album; they simply point, click and type.

In the future, we want to add one more component. Youth should be able to email a picture and share their group’s activities with their friends.
